We believe that Jesus Christ was the divine sacrificial Lamb that took away the sins of the world, that he arose bodily from the dead, that he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, as a final assurance that His redeeming work was perfectly accomplished. We believe that baptism is the external testimony of the believer’s internal trust in, and commitment to walk with, The Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that any person, at any age, who understands, has accepted, and trusts these claims may be baptized.
Northeast Bible Church baptism training is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Baptism services are conducted in the Fellowship Hall, at 10:00 on 4th Sunday’s. Baptisms are performed at the beginning of service, AFTER the opening prayer and BEFORE Praise and Worship, The Right Hand of Fellowship will be extended to the newly baptized at the end of 4th Sunday service.
On the day of baptism, candidates should assemble in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. They should wear dark clothing underneath the baptismal robe; bring a dry change of clothing and plastic bag for wet items. Personal towels and toiletries are optional. Parents should accompany minors.
